Norris Medical Librarians are available to USC students, faculty, staff and affiliates for consultations and training on how to find, select, access, and use information resources.

The best way to schedule an online appointment with a librarian is to use the embedded email form available on our contact us page or you can send questions directly to our email via medlib@usc.edu. We will answer your message within 1 business day (Monday-Friday) of receiving your request.  For email and phone inquiries, please ensure that you leave a detailed message regarding your information need.  While our Access Services professionals can help guide you at the library's front desk, we are no longer accepting walk-in consultations.

We provide access to several curated health sciences research guides for your use. You may also consult the liaison librarian page to make direct contact with a health sciences subject specialist. If you have questions that are not health sciences focused, please consult the USC Libraries Ask-Us page or consult with the appropriate USC Libraries subject specialist.

For systematic review consultations, please fill out this form. We are currently offering 1-hour online consultations to get you started with the process.

For research related support including data management, funder compliance, and finding datasets, please contact medlib@usc.edu.

To request specific workshops or consultations, please view our Classes and Workshops page.

For Bioinformatics related questions and consultations, please contact nmlbio@usc.edu.

For patient related questions, please consult with your physician or you can visit our Health Sciences Free Resources Guide.

If you are not affiliated with USC, please direct your query to your local public, state, or affiliated academic institution.
