WDL Computing Services

Computers located within the Wilson Dental Library (WDL) are available to all Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry affiliates with a USC NetID.

Computers

  • 3 Desktop computers (require USC NetID login) with access to productivity tools such as Citrix Virtual Desktop and Citrix Workspace.

  • 1 public access computer station is available near the front desk of the library and is accessible to USC dental patients or dental researchers. 

  • To see a list of all USC-supported software available on WDL's computers, please visit the USC Software Website.

  • Our three group study rooms (which includes the Rare Book Room) include a large screen with HDMI connection.

WDL Printing and Copying Services

The Wilson Dental Library maintains a USC Libraries Xerox printer (that can also make copies and scan documents). For more information regarding printing services at USC Libraries, please see the USC Libraries Printing & Copying Overview page.

The library also maintains an Ostrow School of Dentistry Canon printer (that can also make copies). This printer is exclusively for the use of Ostrow students, staff, and faculty.  

Scanning

The Wilson Dental Library maintains 1 document feed scanner for patron use. Patrons can also use the USC Libraries Xerox printer for scanning.

Chargers, Adapters, and Other Equipment

The Wilson Dental Library’s front desk has a selection of charges, adapters, keyboards, headphones, and other equipment available for checkout by USC students, faculty and staff. Items circulate for three hours and can be renewed at the front desk.
