Responsibilities

Alyssa G. Resnick, MLIS, is Associate Dean, Technical Services & Collection Development, and an Associate University Librarian. She has been with USC Libraries since 2017 and has a varied background in public, special and academic libraries, library sales experience, experience in technical services, electronic resources, information technology, development, public programming, reference, research, and other public services. In her current role she oversees five departments: Technical Services (Cataloging & Acquisitions, E-Resources & Continuations), Interlibrary Loan & Document Delivery (IDD), Archives Accessioning & Processing, Print Management and Collection Development. Oversight of collection development includes leading the Collection Development and Management Committee (CDMC), negotiating license agreements and transformative agreements with vendors, and managing the acquisitions budget used to acquire all USC Libraries collections and resources. Her personal interests include art, architecture, movies, traveling and her pugs!
