This annual celebration is an opportunity for families to visit their students and get an up-close look at how the campus community achieves excellence in teaching, research, and public service.

The Trojan Family Weekend event experience presents an invaluable opportunity to form lifelong memories with your student and the Trojan Family.

Experience the Thomas and Dorothy Leavey Library, the go-to destination for undergraduates. Step into a bustling hub of innovation and cutting-edge technology that is shaping the future.

Explore the state-of-the-art basement learning environment, offering everything from laptops to DSLR cameras and digital audio recorders. Unleash your creativity on the third floor at the USC Sidney Harman Academy for Polymathic Study's Ahmanson Lab, where workshops on design and digital authoring await.

Immerse yourself in the grandeur of its stained-glass windows, indulge in the inspiration of its reading rooms, navigate through its enchanting stacks, and marvel at the former card catalog room and curated exhibition spaces. Witness the architectural masterpiece that is this brick-and-limestone edifice, crafted by the brilliant minds of Ralph Adams Cram and Samuel Lunden. USC Sidney Harman Academy for Polymathic Study: Polymathic Pizza

Discover the USC Sidney Harman Academy's exciting undergraduate conversational series exploring the concept of living a "polymathic" life. Come hear more about how we support students in interdisciplinary problem-solving through various programming, workshops, and research opportunities.

This event is an opportunity for families to get a glimpse into the Harman Academy's aims by attending one of our ongoing events. The evening will feature award-winning game designer and Professor Richard Lemarchand in dialogue with Professor Neda Maghsoodi, the Gabilan Assistant Professor of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering. They will reflect on the role of wonder in their careers, offering students insight into how curiosity drives their creative and scholarly endeavors.

Phi Kappa Phi Fall Recognition Ceremony (by invitation only)

Doheny Memorial Library (DML), Room 240 1:30–2:20 p.m.

Established in 1924, the USC chapter of Phi Kappa Phi is the university's oldest all-discipline honor society. Membership is by invitation only. Part of the USC Libraries, the USC chapter of PKP provides opportunities for undergraduates, graduate students, and faculty members to be recognized for their accomplishments by a supportive and engaged academic community. The ceremony in the fall honors juniors who have maintained a high academic standing by inducting them as full members into PKP. Sophomores who excelled academically during their freshman year are also recognized by the USC chapter during the ceremony as an encouragement to continue and eventually become full members of PKP.
