Robert Darnton Speaks about "Archival Overload" and His New Digital Book Project

The director of the Harvard University Library and historian of the book shared his thoughts about digital publishing, the 18th century French book trade, and Google at a recent lecture co-presented by the libraries and the USC-Huntington Early Modern Studies Institute. In this clip, he gives an overview of his upcoming digital publication about the pirates, smugglers, and counterfeiters at the heart of French Enlightenment print culture.
