New Text and Data Mining Tool for USC Researchers

New Acquisitions

TDM Studio, a text and data mining service from ProQuest, is now available to all University of Southern California researchers through the USC Libraries. The service helps users analyze thousands or even millions of documents, including historical newspapers, scholarly journals, theses and dissertations, primary sources, and other content from ProQuest databases. User-uploaded content is supported, too.

Researchers new to data mining can generate visualizations within minutes. For researchers with coding experience, the Workbench feature offers full programmatic access using the Python or R programming languages and integration with Jupiter Notebook.

To learn more about TDM Studio, see ProQuest's product page. Researchers with a valid USC email address can create an account and login here
