Libraries Acquire 59 New Electronic Resources

The USC Libraries have acquired 59 new digital resources for use by faculty, staff, and student researchers. Many of the additions are already accessible via the E-Resources tab on the libraries' homepage. The acquisitions span several disciplines, including Anthropology, Business & Economics, Chinese Studies, Classics, Government & Political Science, History, International Relations, Language & Literature, Religion, Science & Engineering, Social Sciences, and Women's Studies.

A series of posts over the next week will highlight some of the new resources. In this first installment, we look at the five interdisciplinary resources, with a highlight from The Times of India archive:

  • Blackwell Reference Online Complete Collection
  • Eighteenth Century Journals IV, 1709-1820
  • The Times Literary Supplement Historical Archive, 1902-2005
  • The Times of India, 1838-2001
  • Underground and Independent Comics, Comix and Graphic Novels

The Times of India is an English-language newspaper that has published since 1838. On August 15, 1947, the paper celebrated the "birth of India's freedom" as the nation achieved its independence from the British Empire.
