The USC Libraries have acquired 59 new digital resources for use by faculty, staff, and student researchers. Many of the additions are already accessible via the E-Resources tab on the libraries' homepage. The acquisitions span several disciplines, including Anthropology, Business & Economics, Chinese Studies, Classics, Government & Political Science, History, International Relations, Language & Literature, Religion, Science & Engineering, Social Sciences, and Women's Studies.
A series of posts over the next week will highlight some of the new resources. In this first installment, we look at the five interdisciplinary resources, with a highlight from The Times of India archive:
- Blackwell Reference Online Complete Collection
- Eighteenth Century Journals IV, 1709-1820
- The Times Literary Supplement Historical Archive, 1902-2005
- The Times of India, 1838-2001
- Underground and Independent Comics, Comix and Graphic Novels
The Times of India is an English-language newspaper that has published since 1838. On August 15, 1947, the paper celebrated the "birth of India's freedom" as the nation achieved its independence from the British Empire.
