Last week, Steven Mikulan of the L.A. Weekly included a quartet of 1950s photos that happened to be taken on May 29 in his feature, "Today in Photographs." The photographs are taken from the Los Angeles Examiner collection, portions of which have been digitized and made available through the USC Libraries Digital Archive.
