The 2015 Library Edition of the NMC Horizon Report highlighted the work of the USC Libraries' own Elizabeth Namei and Christal A. Young. The publication from the New Media Consortium listed their ACRL paper, "Measuring Our Relevancy: Comparing Results in a Web-Scale Discovery Tool, Google and Google Scholar," as a recommended source about competition from alternative avenues of discovery. In their paper, Namei and Young present their findings from a quantitative study of search results relevancy among the USC Libraries' discovery systems The citation appears on page 27.
