Help plan ebrary's next survey!

Bring your ideas and suggestions for ebrary's next survey to a luncheon led by Allen McKiel, Dean of Library and Media Services at Western Oregon University. In the past two years, ebrary has conducted three well-received surveys on various aspects of e-resource perception, usage and need among librarians, faculty and students around the world. Participants will discuss possible topics, questions, and other aspects for the new survey, and will be cited as contributors in the final results.

As an introduction to the discussion, Dr. McKiel will present results from ebrary's latest 2008 Global Student E-book Survey, which was completed by 6,492 students. Their responses reflect student e-resource usage preferences, patterns, and perceptions. During his presentation, Dr. McKiel will discuss key findings and compare them to responses from faculty and librarians in the earlier surveys. The presentation will be interactive and preface the discussion of the viability, content, and focus of the next survey. To sign up for complimentary survey results, please go to https://tinyurl.com/4fc5gh.

All participants will receive an ebrary T-shirt and also be entered in a drawing for a free iPod touch, conducted at the end of the presentation.
