Doheny Library Closed Friday, Oct. 22 for Speech by President Obama

President Barack Obama will speak in front of Doheny Memorial Library on Friday, October 22. The event, organized by the Democratic National Committee, is hosted by the USC Political Student Assembly. For security reasons, Doheny Memorial Library will be completely closed.

Doheny Memorial Library is the site of previous speeches by sitting U.S. President Gerald R. Ford and presidential aspirants John F. Kennedy and Richard M. Nixon.

Attendees of the rally may begin entering the event at 10:00 a.m., with the program scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. Attendees should enter on Trousdale Parkway, south of W. 34th Street, where each person entering the rally will be required to walk through a metal detector.
