Daily Trojan Features West Bank and East Jerusalem Searchable Map

In a recent article by Somto Ugwueze, the Daily Trojan featured the USC Digital Library interactive digital map of archaeological sites in East Jerusalem and the West Bank. The map provides a transparent guide to the cultural heritage sites uncovered in the contested territories since the 1967 Israeli occupation.

Ugwueze gives a nice overview of the project, which brought together archaeologists and negotiators from Israel and Palestine, and the collaborative work among USC College professor of religion Lynn Swartz Dodd, Ran Boytner at the UCLA Cotsen Institute of Archaeology, and Matt Gainer and Zahid Rafique of the USC Libraries.
