Hamlin Garland was a Pulitzer Prize-winning and prolific novelist, poet, essayist, and short story writer. "The Trail of the Goldseekers" is Garland's account of his trip to the Klondike gold fields in 1898. Garland moved to Hollywood in 1929 and taught for a time at USC (which now houses his literary papers). This copy of this memoir includes a variety of material tipped-in by the author.

Front and back covers are detached; spine falling off; signatures may need resewing; extra-illustrated copy, tip-ins may need repair. Requires a custom box for long term preservation.
