Christal Young's research interests include library pedagogical and specialized outreach, programs, services, and support to First Year Experience, First Generation, and International Students.


Christal Young is the Reference & Instruction Librarian for U.S., British, & Canadian History, American Studies & Ethnicity, and Library Science and the Library First Year Experience Coordinator for Leavey Library.  She is also an adjunct professor in the Master of Management in Library and Information Science program through the Marshall School of Business.
