Responsibilities

  • Assistant Dean for Faculty Affairs

    • Involved in anything related to faculty collegiality, recruitment, promotion, and retention
    • Support, advocate and advance faculty success at all levels in the USC Libraries
    • Coordinates and supports the processes for faculty appointment, promotion and tenure
    • Fosters lifelong learning, wellness, and mentoring
    • Develop and implement onboarding program
    • Ensures hiring process and policies are compliant and aligned with the university policies and California law

     

  • Communication & Journalism Gender and LGBT Studies Librarian
    • Conducts subject specific course instruction
    • Provides in-depth research consultations
    • Consults with faculty on course materials
