Brandon Reynolds won the sixth-annual Wonderland Award with Wonderland at Sunset: A Case of Vanishing, his inventive comparison of Wonderland to modern day Los Angeles by way of a police report. Close to 50 students entered this year's competition. Genevieve Kaplan won second prize for Alice's Alphabet, her poems comprised entirely of lines from Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland which she then bound into book form. Myra Yepez received the White Night prize for her work, Lewis Carroll: (It was about time he had) A Portrait, which is an oil painting of Lewis Carroll.
An audience of more than 100 students, faculty, and library supporters joined the judges and Linda and George Cassady for the sixth-anniversary Wonderland Award ceremony in Room 240 of Doheny Memorial Library.
