Collaborative Workrooms
The Information Commons, located on the second floor, has 13 group study rooms designed for 4-6 people, and 2 large group study rooms that accommodate up to 14 students. All collaborative workrooms feature white boards and network connections for laptops. Dry erase markers are available at the Circulation Desk for library patron use.

Individual Study Pods
These quiet, private spaces are equipped with built-in power outlets and USB charging ports, adjustable LED lighting, and fresh air ventilation. They are ideal for Zoom meetings, virtual classes, focused studying, or reading.
The Study Pods are available for use in the second- and third-floor lobbies. They are labeled 210A, 210B, 210C, 310A, 310B, and 310C.
USC students with a valid USC login can reserve a Study Pod up to 7 days in advance. Reservations are limited to two hours per person per day to help ensure fair access for all users. Reservations can be made through the online reservation system: Reservations & Appointments.
Weingart Reading Room
Located on the first floor, the Weingart Reading Room has open study tables and cubicles. The Reading Room is also home to the Wall of Scholars, which honors USC students who have received certain USC, national, and international awards.
Popular Reading Room
Located on the first floor and adjacent to the Weingart Reading Room, the Popular Reading Room has open study tables and a carefully selected range of recent bestsellers, ranging from memoirs, biographies, self-help, fiction, cookbooks, and other genres. The Assistive Technologies Room is also located within the Popular Reading Room.
Audio/Visual Room
Adjacent to the Circulation Desk on the 1st Level, this spaces houses twelve monitors, with HDMI and USB-C connections, and individual study cubicles. For information about usage guidelines, see Policies.
Study Spaces
Study carrels, accent chairs, and open tables provide comfortable study spaces on all floors. Laptop connectivity is supported throughout the building and on the outdoor terrace through the USC Secure and Guest wireless networks. Ethernet jacks are also available on the second and third floors.
