Where can I find USA data? Most likely the answer will be the US Census! This workshop will provide an overview of the history of the census and historical census resources. It will also provide information on the transition of census tools such as the end of American Factfinder to its new platform, data.census.gov. Lastly, get a sneak peek to the Census 2020 form and the possible implications of the first ever-online census in the United States.

Theme(s): Finding Data

Learning Objective: Participants will learn the history of the census and explore publicly available census resources and tools and library databases.
