This workshop will build on the search strategies introduced in Searching Strategies Part 1. Attendees will expand their search strategies to find various types of research studies, and use citations to locate other references and shared references to understand the scholarly conversation around a topic. 

Learning outcomes:

  • Understand how to expand your search using filters and subject headings to increase the relevance of research sources
  • Understand how to search by methodology to find systematic reviews, quantitative studies and other research on the hierarchy of evidence
  • Locate additional resources using citations or publication lists
