User Experience Design (UX) is an all-encompassing methodology where research, data gathering, and test results guide decisions, instead of guesses and opinions. Particularly useful for students who will create user-facing products, this workshop will introduce essential ideas and demonstrate universal practices for UX design as it is used in the software development, video game, and product design industries.

Attendees will receive a comprehensive demonstration of a professional user testing session with key lessons on UX work, including a brief look at the history and context of the practice.

We welcome USC students from all majors with no prior experience necessary.

This program is open to all eligible individuals. The USC Libraries operates all of its programs and activities consistent with the University’s Notice of Non-Discrimination. Eligibility is not determined based on race, sex, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or any other prohibited factor.
