Examples of generative code art: swooping mathematically precise curves that make up an apple and an abstract grid of star shapes.

In this beginner-friendly workshop, attendees will be introduced to p5.js, an open-source library of javascript that emphasizes intuitive visual design and play through code. This workshop is ideal for students from non-technical backgrounds who are curious about programming, as well as STEM students interested in dipping their toes into the visual arts.

Attendees will receive a short demonstration and start practicing their modeling skills with a guided challenge.
