Do you need a refresher on APA Style citation and reference components? This workshop will equip you with essential skills for using APA (American Psychological Association) Style 7th ed. in academic writing. Focusing on in-text citations and references, participants will learn to credit sources and create a reference list properly. Learning Outcomes: By the end of this workshop, participants will: Format narrative and parenthetical in-text citations. Format direct quotes and block quotes. List the components necessary to complete a reference. Decipher an APA Style reference. Through practical exercises and examples, students will gain confidence in applying APA Style to their academic papers. This workshop is ideal for undergraduates and graduate students across the sciences and social sciences using APA Style 7th Ed. who want to improve their citation skills and avoid common formatting errors. This program is open to all eligible individuals. The USC Libraries operates all of its programs and activities consistent with the University’s Notice of Non-Discrimination. After registration, you will receive the link and password via email. This session will be recorded. Cancellation policy: The workshop may be canceled due to low enrollment on the day of the planned event.
