Deadlines Creating Courses and Submitting Electronic Reserves Requests
Library Course Reserves has three specific deadline when instructions should start planning their course reserves need each semester.
The first day to submit requests for Fall, Spring, and Summer classes depends on the following schedule:
Fall: Last Friday in March
Spring: Last Friday in October of the previous year
Summer: Last Friday in February
For example, the first day to submit a request for Spring 2027 will be October 30th, 2026. The first day to submit a request for Fall 2027 will be March 26th, 2027.
Instructors will not be able to create course or add requests for future semesters if the schedule above is not active. For example, a Fall 2027 course or request cannot be created or added until March 26th, 2027. This allows Course Reserves staff time to obtain the material requested (if not supplied by the instructor), verify web-links for accuracy, initiate a purchase or acquisition request, pull materials from our collection, etc. before the course officially begins.
