An Interactive, Natural-Language Adventure through Wonderland
The USC Libraries are pleased to introduce this prototype, animated Alice as an artificial intelligence-powered guide to the stories and characters of Lewis Carroll. This version of Alice is also a guide to the libraries’ Cassady Lewis Carroll Collection, Wonderland Award program, and the biographies of Alice Liddell and Charles Dodgson.
The purpose of the project is to develop inventive means of outreach and to experiment with new ways of introducing communities of interest to library collections that otherwise might seem remote or inaccessible. The libraries invite you to chat with Alice, ask questions about the landscape and inhabitants of Lewis Carroll’s imaginative worlds, and share your thoughts about the experience as we work to help the project become increasingly helpful and knowledgeable.
