USC Libraries Seeking Students for Study on Research Behavior

Posted by Elizabeth Galoozis

The USC Libraries are recruiting students for a study of how people do research. Study results will inform improvements in library spaces, services, and collections. Participants will be asked to create a cognitive map of your research process and a cognitive map of a library, and then discuss their maps. The study will take place during the weeks of March 7 and March 21, 2016, in groups of no more than five people, and in sessions of approximately 30-45 minutes. Audio of these discussions will be recorded. Participants selected for the study will receive a Starbucks gift card.
