USC Libraries ILS Staff Member Elected to ELUNA Steering Committee

Faculty and Staff News

Kun Lin, a programmer and analyst for the Integrated Library Systems team at the USC Libraries, has been elected to the Ex Libris Users of North America (ELUNA) Steering Committee for a three-year term.

Representing more than 1,300 members, ELUNA serves as the international user community and advocacy group for Ex Libris customers across the U.S. and Canada. The Steering Committee plays a vital role in representing member interests, overseeing ELUNA’s working groups and communities of practice, managing the relationship with Ex Libris, and organizing the group’s annual meeting.

Lin has been an active participant in the California chapter of ELUNA (eCAUG). Appointed to the chapter’s steering committee in 2023, he served as its chair in 2024.

In his new role on the ELUNA Steering Committee, Lin will maintain a direct connection with Ex Libris senior management and product teams, serve on product working groups—including Primo and Accessibility—and advocate for the USC Libraries’ priorities in future product development.
