Joy Kim, head of USC's Korean Heritage Library, co-wrote a chapter with Daegu University Library director Eun-Kyung Kwon for Jingfeng Xia's Scholarly Communication in China, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. Published in February of 2008, Xia's book studies the impact of advances in information technology on the traditional conventions of scholarly exchange in four Asia countries. The chapter by Kim and Kwon discusses academic research and communication in Korea.
