Win Shih and Ed Tinoco of the USC Libraries have been awarded an American Library Association (ALA) Diversity Research Grant. Their project, titled Facilitating the Learning and Academic Performance of Student Veterans, will study how academic libraries can better serve student veterans. Shih is director of integrated library systems for the USC Libraries, and Tinoco serves as a business librarian at USC's Crocker Business Library.
