Events

At an online recognition ceremony last week, the USC Libraries honored fifty-five academically outstanding sophomores and initiated another fifty-nine juniors into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi (PKP). The libraries serve as the administrative home for the honor society—the University of Southern California's oldest. William Holder, dean of the USC Leventhal School of Accounting and president of USC's PKP chapter, officiated the event, which featured remarks by Karin Huebner, director of academic programs for the Sidney Harman Academy for Polymathic Study and board secretary of the society.
