Photography of Wayne Thom Featured in Exhibition, Los Angeles Times Review

New Acquisitions

The work of architectural photographer Wayne Thom, whose archive the USC Libraries acquired in August, is currently the focus of an exhibition at the WUHO Gallery in Hollywood. In a recent review, Los Angeles Times architecture critic Christopher Hawthorne mentioned the libraries' acquisition. The review also spoke to the value of Thom's collection. "This corporate architecture of the 1970s and 1980s is getting a fresh look from historians, critics, and young architects," Hawthorne wrote. "It's good news that the photographer who understood it better than any other is getting one too."
