Events and Exhibitions

Sci-Fi, Magick, Queer L.A.: Sexual Science and the Imagi-Nation, a new exhibition from the ONE Archives at USC Libraries, is now open at the USC Fisher Museum of Art. Presented as part of the Getty's PST ART: Art & Science Collide initiative, the exhibition explores how science fiction, the occult, and the LGBTQ+ community intersected in 1930s-60s Los Angeles. Featuring rare materials from private collections and the ONE Archives—the world's largest LGBTQ+ repository—the exhibition opened on August 22 and has already garnered attention from LAist and the Los Angeles Times. It runs through November 23.
