New Log-in Requirements for USC Libraries’ Digital Research Resources

Services

usc login screenshot As of July 23, 2018, everyone—on campus and off—will need to log in with valid USC NetID credentials in order to use the USC Libraries’ electronic research resources. This includes all digital journals and databases to which the libraries subscribe and provide access for the USC community.

Previously, users working in USC buildings were not required to log in. The change in log-in procedures is necessary in order to support network upgrades related to Information Technology Services’ ongoing Secure | Connected initiative and to continue providing access to essential research and teaching resources as securely as possible.

Should you need technical assistance logging in to use journals or databases, please contact the libraries at proxysup@lib.usc.edu. The libraries welcome your feedback and questions, which you also can share at that address.
