The USC Libraries welcomed California State Sen. Holly Mitchell on November 3 for a Dia de los Muertos event in Doheny Memorial Library. The event, presented in partnership with Latino Heritage Los Angeles and Mitchell's Senate office, included a tour of Maya Women and the Textile Tradition, a new exhibition on display in Doheny Library's Ground Floor Rotunda through February 15, 2019. Mitchell has represented California's 30th senatorial district, which includes USC's University Park Campus, since 2013.
