The USC Libraries’ temporary access to an expanded set of digital HathiTrust materials will conclude on June 15, 2021. As we resume check-out of print materials in libraries open for access by reservation, the conditions for using digital copies of copyrighted materials in our print collections no longer apply. We look forward to continually increasing the accessibility of library buildings and print collections as health and safety protocols allow.
As of June 15, copyrighted items previously available through the Emergency Temporary Access program will appear to logged-in users as “Limited (search only).” The full text of HathiTrust items in the public domain or available through Creative Commons licensing will continue to be available to the USC community. These titles are marked “Full view” in the online catalog at https://www.hathitrust.org. Because USC Libraries are a HathiTrust member, you can log in to HathiTrust using your USC login and password and download full PDFs of “Full view” items.
