In her August 18 "Staying Connected" column, Daily Trojan writer Rebecca Lett recommended the USC Libraries' Twitter feed. A graphic accompanying the article listed seven USC-related Twitter feeds, including the libraries', as "Essential USC Twitter accounts to follow."
The libraries maintain an active Twitter feed, updating more than 1,500 followers about the libraries' events and collections as well as developments within the larger world of libraries and academia. The other accounts mentioned were @USCedu, @Lane_Kiffin, @DailyTrojan, @USCCareerCenter, @VisionsnVoices, and @USC_USG.
Lett's article, which was titled "Twitter gives USC students new avenue for information," praised the online service for its quick access to information about USC and the surrounding community. It appeared on page B4 of the Daily Trojan's print edition.
