Collecting COVID-19

Special Collections

Everyone’s everyday life has been touched or disrupted since the first appearance of the current COVID-19 pandemic. The adjustments we make, the emotions we feel, and the actions we take will one day be the source of reflection, inspiration, and study.

In an effort to capture the lived experiences by members of the University of Southern California community and communities throughout Los Angeles and the Southern California region, the USC Libraries’ Special Collections and University Archives invite you to create and share records of your experiences. It can take almost any form, as long as it documents your experience during this pandemic. Examples include but are not limited to: write a journal of your thoughts and experiences; record voice memos to make an audio journal; save your social media posts; share a story directly through our submission form; take photos or videos of life as you see it; or get creative with another format to document your life during this pandemic.
