Campus Libraries Host Open Houses for Returning USC Students

As the University of Southern California prepares for the start of its fall 2021 semester on August 23, several USC Libraries locations are hosting open houses to welcome USC students back to their campus libraries. Library faculty and staff will be on hand to answer questions about how the USC Libraries support students in their academic endeavors.

The Gaughan and Tiberti Library will host a table as part of the USC Marshall School of Business's annual New Student Welcome event on August 19 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

On August 23, 25, 31, and September 2, between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., the newly renovated Science & Engineering Library hosts an open house in the Northside Quad. Library faculty and staff will be offering brochures and other giveaways, and students can sign up to receive the library newsletter.

On August 23 and 24 between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., the Norris Medical Library on USC's Health Sciences Campus will host an information table. Librarians will be available to answer questions about library tools and resources and will be soliciting informal feedback on post-it notes. Students who provide feedback will be eligible to enter a raffle.

Throughout the week of August 30, the Wilson Dental Library will invite students to stop by a table in front of the library to pick up brochures about library resources and provide informal feedback on post-it notes. Students who provide feedback will be eligible to enter a daily raffle for a bag stuffed with USC Libraries-branded gifts.
