Whitman published several editions of his famous work over the years, starting in 1855. This second edition expanded from the initial 95-page 1855 edition to almost 400 pages.
Conservation Needs:
Front and back boards are loose, spine is broken, cloth binding is peeling off spine, and needs repair. Requires a custom box for long term preservation
