A Closer Look: Information Literacy

Join us for a workshop on strategies to incorporate information literacy and research skill development into your courses for a variety of disciplines. Presented by USC Librarians Ariana Varela and Bridgid Fennell, and including a teaching case example from Lori Mesrobian, Associate Professor of Latin American and Iberian Cultures at USC Dornsife, this workshop will provide practical assignment examples and faculty resources to encourage students to become independent thinkers in an age characterized by increasingly diverse information streams.
